Toronto FanExpo treats people like shit
Am I gonna get in trouble again like I did with DeviantArt? We'll see.
Those who read this blog might remember I was refused as a guest for this year's Toronto FanExpo because of my hentai. So I swallowed my pride and just booked a table in Artist Alley as I did in past years.
I already knew that HobbyStar, the company that runs the Expo, is not a very fair competitor. As this Wikipedia entry attests:
Well it seems things got worse this year. Some retailers have received calls informing them they would be banned from the HobbyStar Expo if they attended the Paradise convention. All the details are here.
I don't know if this will scare retailers, but I know some artists who are already refusing to entend the HobbyStar Expo this year. I've already paid for a table, so I don't really have a choice. But I was already thinking of ditching the Expo next year to try Anime North instead. Now this scenario seems even more likely.

The organizers of this event have been criticized for previous and continuing harmful practices to fans and various other conventions alike to make a commercial profit.In other words, HobbyStar hold mini free Expos during competing conventions. It's a pretty shitty tactic. The comic book scene is so fragile that we don't need someone using Microsoft techniques to fuck things up.

if it is an expostion for the family let them greyhounds get disney, as if they gonna be there?i don't know much about art, man i only watch hentai and P-movies, but i used to make drawings too in the time from the first teenage mutant ninja turtles so unless i see bambi fucking the rabbit it aint shit keep up your work man, but try to make it more if its possible, (im saying this because i have a small screen so i couldn't watch missdynamite21 properly so im annoied, but thats my problem)
