Virgil Goode got pwned!

What a slam dunk this is by Minnesota’s fifth district Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, the first Muslim sent to Congress. He has had to deal with the Christofascist bleatings of Virginia Rep. Virgil Goode, who claimed Ellison’s desire to use the Koran instead of a bible at his swearing in was “unAmerican.”

Keith Ellison will use a copy of the Koran once owned by Thomas Jefferson. And to make the pwnage even better, Goode represents Jefferson’s birthplace.
“Fix Reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than of blindfolded fear. … Do not be frightened from this inquiry by any fear of its consequences. If it end in a belief that there is no God, you will find incitements to virtue in the comfort and pleasantness you feel in its exercise and in the love of others which it will procure for you”.
Thomas Jefferson

I don't get it. Why is this pwnage? Jefferson owned lots of books. Why is he an authority on anything? He did own slaves, raping at least one by the way, didn't he? I would think that using Jefferson's Koran points to the hypocrisy of Ellison, or does he believe in raping slaves?

So you're saying that Ellison loves raping slaves because he's using Thomas Jefferson's Koran?
