Adobe, you suck!
After using Photoshop 5.5 for nearly 10 years, I've finally installed Photoshop CS2 (version 9).
There's not much new, except they changed the interface, where the options and palettes are. That's gonna take a while to get used to.
They have not improved the smoothness of their brush. Making it still impossible to make decent inking in Photoshop. Open Canvas, which is free, inks much better. Go figure, stupid Adobe.
But then I discovered that the Freeform Pen tool now works like shit. I need a smooth Freeform vectorial Pen tool for good cellshading and Photoshop 5.5 was perfect for that.
So I'm re-installing 5.5... :-p

I prefer painter IX.
I use PS 5.1, but can't get anything greater than that to work more than 30 seconds without locking up my computer, an occurance that otherwise almost never happens.

I have Painter 7, but there's too many options and I don't feel like learning them. X-)
