SuicideGirls.com Sues lead Photographer for $100,000
Remember how SuicideGirls.com (SG) holds the DeviantArt admins by the balls? Well SG continues their assholish behavior by suing their lead photographer for the horrible crime of taking snapshots of his wife and putting them online. Apparently that constitutes competition "to their empire of over 1500 models, books, DVDs, Burlesque Tours, Radio, Television and Magazines". Talk about bullies. e_e

Is there a link with the full story? Or at least what started this?
The best place to start would be this posting http://community.livejournal.com/lithium_picnic/115101.html Apnea made explaining the situation. Note the date of the posting Feb. 13th, 2007 means this case has been going on for quite some time now.
Basically it's SG.com shitting on the little guys. I know I was surprised they'd stoop to that too. :P
I knew there was something fishy with SG the first time I saw it. A corporation with an "alt" esthetic. It's a scam.
I always thought it was just another fetish porn page.
Levelord's Deviant Art Page was taken down. A majority of them were tutorials on how to draw cartoon characters.
On the other hand, these girls still have thier DA account.
So drawing Dr. Draken is breaking the rules, but showing a guy's nuts being totured is still OK.
