Comments fixed :p
Yesterday I noticed the comments function in the gallery was broken. The comments plugin is an old version and the tutorial is no longer online, so it took me a while before I realized I had fucked up the CHMOD on the comments database. It's fixed now. I even managed to save the old comments.

Web cartoonists have to be jacks of all trades. I'm from the "Fuck-Around-Blindly-Beating-the-Shit -Out-of-a-Script-Until-it-Inexplicably-Works" school of web design myself. I got my fan art gallery to have comments after four years of not even knowing how to update it.
Hell, I'm surprised I even know what CHMODing is.
What's CHMOD? Is that permissions?
Ya. And I couldn't upgrade the comments plug-in because the newer version uses MySQL and I have no idea how to use that.
My favorite file permission is 666. Only demons can access it.
