Another major American industry is asking for assistance as the global financial crisis continues: Hustler publisher Larry Flynt and Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis said Wednesday they will request that Congress allocate $5 billion for a bailout of the adult entertainment industry.
Seriously, the Canadian/US exchange rate is somewhat back to normal now. But from 2003 (I wonder what happened that year, uh?) to mid-2008 I lost money as the US dollar spiraled down the drain. And unlike GM, who was making products nobody needed, I make fapping material people desperatly need. So I deserve bailout money a lot more than every last ones of these fuckers.

I know he's not the most savory character, but I can respect a sicko like Larry Flynt. Joe Francis on the other hand, well, he can just die in the most humiliating way possible. Given his penchant for political humor, I can't really believe Flynt is being sincere about this whole thing, but if he's really expecting a bailout, they (that is, Flynt and especially Francis) can both just eat a dick.
After years of this, "We're Capitalists, bitch!" bullshit, it sickens me that these irresponsible motherfuckers (referring specifically to the banks along with GM and Chrysler) are getting billions of dollars for fucking up. Now we'll have to contend with all the whining from these companies when the feds are over their shoulder making sure they're using the money for what they said they would (I guess that part only refers to the auto companies, though).
It's the same pricks who were complaining that taxing SUVs was an attack on the citizen's god given right to drive big ass trucks in the suburbs.
Exactly. I should add that prick is any interesting choice of word, given the primary function of such vehicles.

My own answer: Our greatest achievements are usually the ones that go through the most abuse. Look at MTV's Daria, for example, or the Avril Arrow - all butchered because of office politics.
It's a real shame that (corporate, governmental) stupidity isn't considered a crime. (or is it?)
