Depression

I might as well just explain the recent lack of activity on the website. I haven't been feeling too well these past two weeks. I haven't been diagnosed yet, but it's probably a depression. I've seen a doctor to treat my lack of sleep. I'll probably need to see him again or another one to know exactly what I have and if I need treatment. In any case, I don't think it's too bad. I didn't wait to get all Howard Hughes before seeking help. Unfortunatly, this means no Sister Wulfia Focka update this month and I hate myself for that. But hey, that's one of the symptoms. :-p So

I'm resting for now. I'll post something if I have anything interesting to say, so this place doesn't die off.

It sounds to me like you have a lot on your plate at the moment. ^_^;

If you don't want to take a walk and clear your head (it certainly works for me), then tackle your 'meal' one entree at a time.

Believe me, if the talent you've displayed is any indication, your 'finished products' will be well worth the wait. ^_^

And don't worry about us fans - we're a twisted bunch but we also have our own troubles to deal with. (aka, we can relate) ^-^

The big thing (for me, at least) is that you *enjoy* you're doing - crafting exciting yet believable worlds while brightening the one we're (currently) stuck on in your own inimitable fashion.
(Then again, for me, the paychecks are icing on a 'job-well-done' cake) }X^Þ

Nothing worth doing is ever easy, my friend, but you do it with Gusto brand mustard.

Although my genie is on vacation at the moment, I wish you well.

Depression. Only treatment i know(i don't belive in some pills or other drug that help you understand things that happen around you) is to throw out antything that makes you hate live/youself etc. in some form (poetry, writing, kicking trash cans) and of course talikng with people. But i don't want to be some miracle worker. Everybody finds thier own solutions to problems. My ex-girlfriend had a depression for over 3 years(she even got papers confirming it[yea, she was a lil' bit selfdestructive]) but then she strated makeing photos of life, talked with me, and acepting life as it is and now she's fine. Strenght and faith. See Ya

P.S. Poland is just a little confused about thier help towards America(USA screwed us good starting from WWII to "Oil" war) and fucking naive

You are an extraordinary artist. If you need some time for yourself, I respect that and I guess everyone here does so too. Also I think it is wise to take medical help, if your condition is such that it is needed - in these issues no false pride or anything should stand in the way.

I´d say God bless you Sirkowski :-) Somehow I am reluctant so I say take very good care instead

smoke some doob and put on some Monty Python or Mel Brooks, eat some of your favorite junk food and get a blowjob. works for me.

seriously tho, hope you feel better.

even more seriously, stay away from the "anti-depression" meds, the bastards that make them dont even know how they work, or what the long term effects are. you're better off with a six pack and an oz of smoke

Mr Sirkowski
I found Jesus! In my bowl of cream of corn and he sad to me My son exercise is the key to ending depression.

Ok, may be Jesus did not come out of my creamed corn and I never spoke to him but my my doctor who treated me for depression tried every thing with me under the sun. Meds you name it I tried it.And one day he sad just for shit's and giggles try doing some light to med exercise, and I must say It worked. I know sounds weird but it dose help. and I am by no means a health nut,I love my bacon, beer, and fast foods to much to ever be a health nut but I do find that if you exercise you feel better don't quite know why but its worth a shot.

I hope you feel better soon.

Wow, thats sucks. Don't beat yourself up about the updates, if you need time off, you do. But remember some things:

This new era of America? This era of change? You helped make it true. You got many of the fapping swing vote to vote Obama. Great work. America thanks you.

Don Imus has prostate cancer. Racism causes cancer. Awesome.

You have fans that will hope for your happiness, for you bring it to us.

I personally thank youfor helping me learn Flash. I owe you a lot for what you did for me. You are a great person, and a great friend.

Thanks, and I hope you get well soon!

But I'm kinda used to it, so I don't let it overcome me...

Take it easy, have a Bud on me! ;o)

Well, as someone who has struggled for several years with depression, I know that it's no laughing matter. As others have mentioned, exercise and activity can help, but I know from experience how difficult it can be to make yourself do those things when you feel so shitacular. If you feel you need other kinds of help, by all means, seek them out--there isn't any one magical cure-all, and (provided you are willing to spare the time/money) it doesn't hurt to try different things.

Well the internet is obviously the last place one should look for psychological advice, buuuut I guess that won't stop me from pitching in my two cents.

It sounds to me like you may just be stuck in a rut - in which case a break from here may just be exactly what you need. If it lasts any longer I'd recommend changing your diet. It might sound a little crazy, but cutting certain things (especially soft drinks or anything else that contains caffeine) out of your diet and replacing them with purer, healthier things (like water) may relieve some stress that could be causing your depression. Exercise, as mentioned above, can help, usually by way of improving self-image - it can also help by improving your energy and restoring your body's natural activity (like when to wake up and when to sleep, stuff like that). Also, don't let anyone scare you out of taking mood-elevators if you need them. Too often there's this mindset that all psychoactive drugs are bad, but I really don't think that's true. It is true that drugs are over-prescribed, but I think that's mainly a result of misdiagnosis/problems with individual body chemistries instead of medication that "no one needs". It's that way of thinking that keeps a lot of people from getting the help they really need. Still I do think it is a good idea to exhaust all natural options for therapy before resorting to drugs. Lastly, I'll leave you with my own treatment for depression, laughter. Generally, I try to find something funny in whatever I can, and even when I can't, I still find that forced laughter does make me feel better. Sounds a little weird, I know, but it's really helped me deal with some really shitty moods.

TL;DR Enjoy the time off, smoke some more dope and try to laugh whenever you can. Get well soon!
