I was thinking that it didn't matter since Harper was in no matter what. But yes, a minority government would be a good goal.

As to why most foreigners prefer Obama? Well, the mice would prefer an elephant (or a donkey?) who's carefull where it sleeps in the bed, instead of the other who doesn't give a fuck.
Obama isn't a pacifict, he's not a socialist. He's not gonna bend backwards to please us. But he'll be more carefull, intelligent and curious than Junior was for the past 8 years.
I like where this is headed! Let's get rid of all the stupid conservative governments who are ruining our countries and try to get some people with common sense (I know, its so rare it is a superpower these days)

I just want to say I had a good laugh that you were still at it. In the four years since HQuest's peak, you're still as politically charged as ever and this was definitely not some fleeting obsession with politics that's common to college students doing their three year bachelor of arts and I have mad respect for you for that.
But I have to tell you... I can't help but feel like you're preaching to the choir. Preaching with hot, saucy, lesbian hentai. In the years since HQuest, I've been trying to get into the American psyche more and sticking to my hentai roots. And from what I've learned... you won't sway anybody save for those contemplating Nader.
I've often put forward the question, "How can you be on a site that promotes porn, anti-christian values, freedom of information etc. and still support the republican party?" The reasons I've gotten all stem from some irrational fear of the economy going to hell (a bit late now) Bin Laden knocking on their front door and shooting them in the face, or America completely surrendering to the will of the United Nations or the EU as though multilateralism will render them slaves.
So yeah... as much as I would LOVE to see this momentous event in hentai history, I have to put it to you if you think sacrificing Eva and Blackie's platonic legacy will be worth it.

He voted to reauthorize the patriot act which allows the government to spy on us, he supported giving immunity to major telecommunications companies who illegally spied on American citizens for Bush, he's for a pay or die healthcare system, his vice president pushed along the 2005 anti poor people bankruptcy bill, and he's gotten more corporate money than his republican opponent. Sister he's got my vote, that's the kind of change I can believe in.
I suggest you start drawing that picture, Sirkowski. Thanks to Sarah Palin, the wheels have fallen off the Straight Talk Express. (Should never have let her fix the tires.) I predict a Flawless Victory (say that in a Mortal Kombat sense) for Obama.
