I remember last time I was in Canada a commercial with a woman carrying a boiling pot of water, slipping, and burning her face off. Ya I don't think we have stuff like that and this down here.

...What is this advertising for exactly?

Wait wait I can see it now...

"PNS We make compactors that DON'T crush people. When you think compactors, think PNS." And the crushed guy should try to smile and then give the thumbs up as the logo scrolls across the screen while bloods squirting from his neck. =D

They skipped the end but it for the CSST (The Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail) here in quebec. It is the organization mandated by the Government of Québec to administer the province's occupational health and safety plan in work place. They always do this kind of adds to remind worker that security is number one rule while working. Here is the one that normally follow the first add: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60B2USa8p3c&feature=related

From the same organization, guy gets his arm crushed.

Well at least it makes sense now that I've seen both parts. I swear all these ad campaigns do is guarantee that I'm never gonna work in manufacturing.

See thats why I don't work in a factory. Its to easy to get killed, thats why Im a US Army Ranger.

Though I have to agree with Anonymous, I can't picture Sirkowski eating dinner. I always thought He sucked the embronic fluid out of an unborn fidus.
The more you know.....

It reminded me of a funny German one. And way back a good SNL skit (yes, they used to be good)...

Had a "Family Friendly" ad for an all Amerian tool company talking about their commitment to safety, God and the family. AND everyone in that family was missing a limb. The son had a left eye and kept using a nailgun that shot stuff wierd that hit his patch for his right eye. The dad had an artificial hook arm and reached across a sawboard to turn on the table saw and of course it sparked on the metal...

My brain went in a totally different direction. Remember those "Mike's Hard Lemonade" ads with the workplace accident victims needing a cold one?

I still think Canadians make the best PSAs. I mean I shouldn't even be typing over this fragile box full of mouse traps that is standing on top of the open vat of the toxic waste from Robocop. Someone can get--AHHAAAAAAA! *crack**snap**snap**snap**snap**snap*UH?AHAHAHA!
BAHAAHAHAHAHAKEEEELLLLMEEEEE!*spLaT!*

Americans used to make safe driving PSAs featuring real car accidents in the 60s. A film crew would follow ambulances on the scene of car crashes, filming the bloody mess, people dying, etc. I only saw bits and pieces in a documentary on those PSAs and that was enough. I didn't watch the 2nd DVD featuring three of those PSAs.
