old school anime + surf rock = win

I used to watch Sally when I was 4 or 5 years old. Here it was called Mini-Fée (Mini-Fairy) and the French-Canadian version was the only dub that kept the original theme song. This anime was already old when it got dubbed though. I wasn't born in the 60s... :p
I dressed up Eva has Sally in 2003.

Music? good.
Girl? Creepy as all get out.
Interesting that for a 60's cartoon, it seems to have, if not better animation, than better direction in that short clip than you see in anything else of the era.

I actually remember this cartoon, it was rerun on a oldie but goodie segment on the one japanese channel we got on our giant retro sat dish in the early 1990s.

This show was basicly a for runner of shows like "magical do rei mei" Magical Knight Rayearth" with a goofy kiddy feel of "lucky star".

It sounds like "The 5, 6,7,8" !!

My guess is they used some reference for the dancing, since it's difficult to animate people dancing. That's probably why that sequence is suddenly of better quality than the rest of the show.

Not as groovy as the French and Canuckistan-French themes for G.I Joe.
Still groovy though.
