From what I've heard, it's Bundesvision Contest, a show where they select the German song for Eurovision. The guy jokes "the best two points are with me", grabs the hostess' boob and gets a good slap in the face. Some people say it's fake, but I dunno, the guy seems genuinly shocked (although the dumbass should have seen this comin'). Any Germans can give us some info?

Hong Kong

When I made Faster, Dynamite! Kill! Kill! a few years ago, I didn't feel like drawing a panoramic shot of Hong Kong. Too many fucking buildings. So I just slapped a tourist photograph I found with Google on the panel. Who cares, it's not like this was ever going to get published, right? ...wrong :-p So since it's getting published in french by 400 Coups, can't steal stuff from the Internets like Todd Goldman. I added a little plane for good measure. Eva and Blackie sure fly a lot.

My Feb. update for Sister Wulfia Focka is done. It'll be online on the 24th. For the next few days I'll color pages for my hard-cover and draw new pages for the upcoming webcomic.

Speaking of Japanese surf rock, the most famous song of the genre is probably Black Sand Beach, by Yuzo Kayama and The Launchers. Here's a non-video version with better audio. The Venture paid hommage by recording a version.

old school anime + surf rock = win

I used to watch Sally when I was 4 or 5 years old. Here it was called Mini-Fée (Mini-Fairy) and the French-Canadian version was the only dub that kept the original theme song. This anime was already old when it got dubbed though. I wasn't born in the 60s... :p
