Annoying Spambot is Annoying

A stupid Spambot keeps posting in old posts. (He's stupid because most of his links are broken.) It pisses me off to have to clean the blog several times a day. So I'll do one of two possible solutions.

1) Registered users only. I think Open ID covers registered Bloggers and commenters and gmail users. I think most of the commenters here are already registered.

2) CAPTCHA. (word verification) Personnaly, I think captcha is annoying as fuck, but I'm not the one who's gonna be annoyed. So unless everyone disagrees, I doubt I would use that option.

I think I may have told this story before, but two brothers (in elementary grade 4 maybe) did exactly this with a NES.

And you could clearly see the plastic stretching slowly. At least it wasn't my console.

new combat heroes

I saw them at Rossy's and I couldn't resist. I'm glab they made the old-school version of Snake-Eyes. That costume looks more commando than the weird ninja knight with a face grill (and a mask with a mouth for a mute). And yay for Lady Jaye. I dunno if those are new, but it's the first time I see them.

noisy LaCie fanless HD is noisy

I bought the black 500gb external hard drive from LaCie to use on my sat TV's PVR. Is it normal that a supposedly FANLESS HD makes as much noise as my entire 5 year old PC? I understand that a hard drive would make some noise when it spins, but I can hear it from outside the room.And it's like a windy sound. Sounds like a fan... I can barely hear my netbook's HD even with my ear on it. With no sleep mode, I can't sleep with that thing running in the room. And I can't switch it off, because then my PVR needs to reboot for 5 minutes. Not very conveniant.

I'm bringing it back to the store tomorrow. Haven't decided if I'm exchanging it for something that would be hopefully silent or if I just get my money back and not use the recorder.

Mustang 68

I went in a xmas shopping recon this week to a toy shop and came out with a Mustang 68 model kit. I really hate painting and white looks pretty cool so I left it as it is.

I made a stupid glue stain on the fucking windshield. So I just spread glue everywhere to make it look like frost. That's a bow of Lothlorien btw.

And who's Mustang is that? I edited some of the decals that came with the model. I think it took me at least 20 minutes just for these three letters.

Except for Serpentor and Beach Head (which I don't care about), I got the entire collection.

The litteral translation of the chinese would be "stupid ghost face" (unless my Hong Kong contact pwned me). Ghost Face is an old racist slur used in Hong Kong toward Europeans. I have no idea if it's still in use today, but I had to press my translator to give me a Chinese racist slur as she felt it was highly innapropriate. XD But I wrote 'stupid foreigner' instead because I didn't want to fill the bottom of the page with text. Just a nice little easter egg.
