If you thought Miss South Carolina was bad...

...you should read what political think-tank can come up with. Philip Atkinson, a lazy bum who lives on corporate welfare, wrote a piece claiming that the United States should commit nuclear genocide in Iraq and install George W. Bush as dictator for life.

The full text is here. Philip Atkinson work for The Family Security Foundation, Inc. which is an arm of Family Security Matters, a conservative think-tank. And as wingnutty as it is, it isn't exactly fringe. Family Security Matters counts people like former CIA boss James Woolsey on its board of directors. The piece was saved thanks to Google Cache, since Family Security Matters has started to erase all trace of the article since it became noticed.

TL;DR version, Atkinson says democracy has its limits and that's the reason why Iraq is a quagmire. Start by nuking Iraq and then crown Bush permanant Imperator. Atkinson uses a historical precedent, the rise to power of Julius Cesar, to make his case. He doesn't mention that Cesar fucking killed the Roman Republic and caused a bloody civil war. Cesar left behind a system of retarded inbred blood-line political system. And did he really forget the circumstances of Cesar's death?? Someone paid that guy to write that shit???

If President Bush copied Julius Caesar by ordering his army to empty Iraq of Arabs and repopulate the country with Americans, he would achieve immediate results: popularity with his military; enrichment of America by converting an Arabian Iraq into an American Iraq (therefore turning it from a liability to an asset); and boost American prestiege while terrifying American enemies.

He could then follow Caesar's example and use his newfound popularity with the military to wield military power to become the first permanent president of America, and end the civil chaos caused by the continually squabbling Congress and the out-of-control Supreme Court.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?! o_O The Roman Empire never exterminated entire nation to re-populate them with Romans. Not in any massive scale anyway. And how would Americans colonize a radioactive Iraq? Maybe he should learn how nukes work before advocating nuclear holocaust.

I wonder if he broke any laws by suggesting this? If freedom of speech doesn't protect sedition, why should it protect this? Whichever President finally decides to bring the troops home is gonna need uber body guards. Timothy McVeight was just a pussy compared to what's coming.

South Carolina help like such as the Iraq.

I personnaly believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have maps and I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere like such as and I believe that they should our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future. [for our children]

Isn't "such as" something dumb people use to sound smart? And I love how she says THE Iraq. And this is 2007... helping Iraq? You watched the news lately?

The Bitch, The Lesbian and The Comrad, THE END

I think "Boom! Fuck!" is probably a good run down of most Miss Dynamite stories. That comic was way too long and I botched it. Oh well. At least I did finish it. Better to fail and learn than to bitch, do nothing and suck anyway. In the canon continuity, The Bitch, The Lesbian and The Comrad is after Episode Two: Eva, Blackie, Mélodie and friends and before Faster, Dynamite! Kill! Kill!.

Miss Dynamite XXIII (23) storyboard/animatic

As far as I know, I have completed the storyboard for episode 23 of the anime. It's online here. Comment are welcomed. Picture toally unrelated (too lazy to upload something).

Eli eating baby food on my fingers (apples and strawberries, I ate most of it this morning... :-p). Once he realized that bitting it and trying to run away with my delicious fingers wasn't going to work, he just licked them. Ratzi doesn't seem to know what to do. He knows it smells good, but maybe he's confused because he knows he ain't supposed to eat human fingers.

Miss Dynamite ep. 23 ending - Nevermind

I'm thinking this (spoilers) is the ending I would go for. It's nothing special, but I think it'll work. If anyone has any original ideas, let me know.

Update: Nevermind, I think I got it.

Various shit

I've started to storyboard episode 23 of the Miss Dynamite anime. I'll probably post it when it's done. I know it's been months since the last episode, but I'll have more to say on that subject later. So meanwhile, just to fill the void in your lives, some random links... :-p

Vladimir Putin looks like a fucking psycho! In a way that's totally a propaganda photo-op to show Russians that the President is not gonna take shit from fags, Tchetchens and mongrels. At the same time, he's ex-KGB, so you know there's a bit more to this than Bush clearing bush on his luxury ranch.

To my knowledge Betty Boop was probably the firt anime babe. As you'll see in this video, she (and the Fleisher bros.) was probably the first to give fan service as well.

Surfing rats. (Dunno why it says 'mice'; those are clearly rats.)

This is part of the Kids in the Hall sketch that inspired the Miss Dynamite vs Terri Schiavo episode. Missing is the epilogue where a little girl plays 'horsy' with her daddy. The problem is the little girl is now almost an adult and her mother explains to her that her horsy is really her daddy. When she throws a temper tantrum asking for her horsy, the father loads a rifle. But then comes Tommy saying, "He's my dog, I'll do it!" And he shoots the girl. X-D

Finally, everyone has probably seen this, but here's Dick Cheney in 1994 explaining why invading Iraq would be a REEEEALLY bad idea. It reminds me of the time I said I would never make a frame-by-frame animation because it was too much work for very little pay-off. And then I did the Sister Dynamite episode... At least nobody died.

New Pu Tang pinup + Not going to the Toronto FANeXpo

I've been going to the Toronto Expo each summer for the past 4 years, but I won't be going this year. And I doubt I'll return to that particular con. If I go to Toronto in 2008, it'll be to Anime North or something, but not the Expo.

First I had decided last year that I wasn't going to Toronto this year. The last trip was a huuuge fucking hassle. Shitty bus ride, shitty hostel, it's a wonder we even got there. Second, a table in artist alley is 200$ this year. Holy shit this con is a real con! Add the price for transport and lodging, it's a sure bet I'd be losing money by attending. And they don't want to invite me because I do hentai. Third, even if I was invited, I'd rather not go. The Expo has a reputation for disloyal competition. Threatening of banning exhibitors who go to other conventions. Organizing free one-day conventions during competing conventions. Fourth, people don't buy books, comics or mangas at the Expo. Last year I noticed almost nobody was carrying any books. People were buying toys, video games and that's about it. And most of this is for sale in stores all year long anyway. Jesus christ, don't buy fucking Pokeys for 10$ at the convention. They sell them for 2$ in Chinatown...

So for all these reasons, fuck it. Maybe next year, but somewhere else.

Edit: btw, Pokeys are shit.

back from Otakuthon, new pinup + fanart UPDATED

I posted a new Pu Tang pinup that was recently commissioned in the gallery. I also played a bit with the Yahoo avatars to see if I could create characters close enough to Eva and the gang.

I had fun at Otakuthon. There was a slight skrew up with the place where the guests were installed, but that's the fault of the University, not the organizers. Hopefully next year the con will take place in a hotel or somewhere with more space. I was able to show a few Miss Dynamite anime episode on big screen for one of the panels I was co-hosting with Marc (of Dragon-Mango). From what I heard the people in Artist Alley made some good business. I hope to be invited again next year. We were very well treated, with plenty of snacks in the green room and our lovely guest liason even gave me a lift back home on Sunday. Oh, and I saw a ball-jointed doll who had a sex change (try to figure out what that means).

Last but not least, a Pu Tang fanart from KPanime.

Edit: Looking at the registration process for Anime North, it would be preferable if I were a guest if I were to attend. I wonder how I could pull that out...?

Edit II: More reports from Otakuthon (with photos).

Edit III: Funny comments from the convention.

Fuck you Dollarama!

Fuck you, you motherfucking redneck dollar store! Dollarama used to sell those nifty glass frames with no borders that I sell at conventions with a sweet color pinup. I went today and all they had were trashy frames with fake-ass-wood borders or faggoty plastic flowers. I still have ten of them left, so I'm sure that'll be enough for Otakuthon this weekend. But those frames better not have been discontinued... *shakes fist*
